About the course

Physical health awareness for all primary care staff providing annual health checks to service users with complex mental and physical health

An interactive course covering basic skills and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Importance of physical health monitoring for improved outcomes for Service Users with serious mental illness
  • Knowledge of physical health co-morbidities for people with severe mental illness
  • Improving the physical health outcomes for people with severe mental illness

Funded by Health Education England supported by your local health care commissioners
