About the course

Please note, this course will now be taking place digitally.
‘Mental well-being’ is a term that is becoming increasingly common in popular culture and is relevant to clinical staff working in primary care. This one-day course is aimed at healthcare professionals (pharmacists, GPs, primary care nurses) working in the community who may encounter people in the early stages of mental distress.
We will break the concept of well-being into key components, allowing participants to enhance their skills and confidence in promoting good mental health and preventions strategies, identifying when patients are at risk of deterioration, harnessing strengths and resilience factors, and accessing appropriate support.
