Managing medical emergencies in mental health settings using an interprofessional in-situ simulation training programme: A mixed methods evaluation study.

“Managing medical emergencies in mental health settings using an interprofessional in-situ simulation training programme: A mixed methods evaluation study.” This paper used an intervention across 8 half-days with multiple healthcare professionals across two wards. Participants reported improvements in confidence, communication, self-reflection, teamwork, and responsibility for patient’s physical health. Incident reporting also increased by 33% post-training.
