Professor David Taylor

Professor Taylor has been the head of pharmacy at the Maudsley hospital for over 25 years. He is also professor of psychopharmacology at King’s College, London. David has been the lead author of the Maudsley Guidelines in Psychiatry since they were first conceived in 1994. In 2014 he was named as one of the top 100 clinical leaders in the UK. David has authored over 300 clinical research and review papers. He is a fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh) – a unique honour for a pharmacist. David is editor-in-chief of Therapeutic Advances in Psychopharmacology.
