Dr Marinos Kyriakopoulos

Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

working in the National and Specialist Acorn Lodge Inpatient Children’s Unit, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He is an Honorary Consultant at the Tourette Syndrome Clinic at Great Ormand Street Hospital for Children and is a Visiting Senior Lecturer in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, King’s College London.

Marinos leads a high quality research programme which aims to improve the identification of clinical dimensions, epidemiology, genetics, treatment approaches and barriers to treatment for children with complex neuropsychiatric disorders. He publishes widely in high impact peer-reviewed journals and speaks at international conferences.

Marinos lectures on mental health in children and young people with ASD and LD at University College London and is a member of the Specialist Training Committee of the Maudsley Higher Specialist Training Scheme in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
