Vivek is Acute Medicine Lead at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He developed Acute Medicine at King’s College Hospital and established a pathway for acutely unwell SLAM inpatients. He has also published about Acute hospital service utilization by inpatients in psychiatric hospitals. Vivek led the NCEPOD “Treat as One” report on the quality of care provided to mental health patients in General Hospitals. He is a member of the RCPsych PLAN accreditation committee.
