Carolyn Hodgman
Head of Digital Learning
'Carolyn has rich experience in leading digital learning and workforce development in leadership roles and as a consultant, providing programmes nationally and internationally for over 13 years. She is committed to ensuring the best outcomes for service users through providing learning for professionals in an increasingly digital world. Carolyn is head of the digital learning team, leading the digital learning strategy. She is a CIPD member, Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Associate Director for the Academy of Leadership and Management and was elected chair of the eLearning Alliance. She has a background in computer science, IT Law, lecturing and teaching and has led national digital transformation education programmes. She joined the NHS as national eLearning lead for NHS Health Scotland then joined our partners at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience as digital education lead, before joining SLaM and Maudsley learning in 2018. Carolyn’s research interests relate to data and analytics on digital behaviours to inform the design and delivery of digital learning and workforce interventions
