Course description

This half-day Maudsley Simulation course will be of interest to all clinical staff seeking to learn and practice their skills in working with children, young people, and families at the interface between physical and mental health needs, using a "hands-on" simulation-based approach.

Participants will be involved in a series of simulated scenarios using actors. Debriefing models are employed to give feedback to participants on their contribution and assist them to learn positively and constructively from the experience.

The content of the course has been developed with the help of experts by experience (patients and carers).
