About the webinar

Women undergoing treatment for breast and gynaecological cancers often experience an abrupt and intense onset of menopause, accompanied by severe physical and psychological symptoms. What treatment options are available to support them, and is hormone replacement therapy (HRT) ever appropriate in these cases? This presentation will explore strategies for supporting these women and aims to equip clinicians with the confidence to discuss both hormonal and non-hormonal treatments, as well as lifestyle interventions.

The one-hour webinar will be followed by a 30-minute meeting of the UK Cancer Psychiatry Network. If you are interested in joining the network, please email greg.shields@slam.nhs.uk prior to the meeting.

Presented by the UK Cancer Psychiatry Network.
