About the course

This learning network brings together aspiring health and social care leaders to develop their own practice and that of their teams and services in improving mind and body care.

Through creating a network of people leading positive change, this courses aims to build on the work of the Mind & Body Programme.

You will engage with like-minded health and social care leaders to solve problems and test solutions to improving mind and body care. On two half-day sessions and four 90-minute action learning sets over six months, the network will draw from current best practice, local resources, and the expert knowledge of participants. Subject matter experts, skilled facilitators, and peer work will provide a valuable learning experience with direct translation to practice.

This learning network is open to 20 health and social care workers based in southeast London with an interest in improving care for patients and service users with mental and physical health needs. Participants may be clinicians, managers, and other aspiring leaders from NHS Trusts, Primary Care, Clinical Commissioning Groups, local Councils, and voluntary and community sector organisations.

If you have any questions, please email chris.attoe@slam.nhs.uk.

Please note: participation involvement requires attendance to all six dates from January – June 2020. This course is for Mind & Body Champions.

Let our team complete a full Training Needs Analysis for a department, directorate, or the whole hospital! We can work to complete this ourselves or work collaboratively with your own staff. Our standard outcome measures assess learner progress and produce a full report looking at wider impact of training using a range of tested assessment methodologies.
