By the end of this course, participants will:
- Gain awareness of how to identify signs and symptoms of poor mental health.
- Acquire knowledge of approaches to identify individuals at risk due to poor mental health.
- Develop confidence in engaging in conversations with community members experiencing early stages of mental distress.
- Cultivate skills in recognizing when individuals are at risk of deterioration, utilizing strengths, and fostering resilience.
- Expand their understanding of signposting and accessing appropriate support.
- Take into account cultural factors and inequalities pertinent to identifying and managing mental health symptoms.
