About the course

This one-day course for healthcare professionals working with people in the early stages of mental distress looks at ways to improve their wellbeing, examining at-risk situations and prevention strategies.

'Mental wellbeing' is a term that is becoming increasingly common in popular culture and is relevant to clinical staff working in primary care. It is especially suitable for social prescribers.

The training is open to pharmacists, GPs and primary care nurses working in the community.

It will cover a range of topics including encouraging behavioural change for sustained recovery and making better use of the resources and pathways available.
