Danny Bosch has recently joined Maudsley Enterprise as the Director of Business Development, where he focuses on advancing the organisation’s growth and offerings within the mental health sector. With over 14 years of experience, Danny has built an extensive career at the intersection of science, business development, and healthcare innovation.
Danny’s career began in science, where a deep passion for translating innovative discoveries into patient benefits took root. His experience spans various sectors, including multinational corporations, startups, and public institutions, with a strong emphasis on value creation strategies.
In his most recent role as Head of Commercialisation at the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), Danny advised the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) on intellectual property (IP) and commercialisation during the pandemic response. At Imperial College Health Partners, he established a Business Development and Commercial skill centre and led initiatives that leveraged NHS healthcare data to foster collaborations between charities, academic institutions, NHS trusts, and industry partners, ultimately driving patient outcomes and innovation.
Danny is also passionate about nurturing the next generation of healthcare innovators. He serves as a startup mentor for various accelerators, including CancerTech, KQ Labs, and AI Forge, and holds a position as Health Executive in Residence at the UCL Global Business School for Health. Additionally, Danny is an angel investor in the healthcare sector.
In his new role at Maudsley Enterprise, Danny brings a wealth of diverse experience to support the development of innovative and sustainable solutions in mental health services, both in the UK and internationally.
