Dr Dimosthenis Tsapekos

Dr Tsapekos is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Affective Disorders within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. After completing his MSc in Mental Health Studies, he worked as a research assistant for two years before undertaking a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology. He is currently managing an NIHR-funded, multi-site randomised controlled trial (RCT) that assesses the efficacy and mechanisms of cognitive remediation for individuals with bipolar disorder. His research focuses on identifying new evidence-based approaches to facilitate functional recovery in individuals with mood and other psychiatric disorders.
