Dr Ebenezer Oloyede

Dr Ebenezer Oloyede is the Principal Pharmacist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and an Honorary Lecturer in Psychopharmacology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London.
He holds an MPharm degree and postgraduate diploma in pharmacy practice from Queen’s University Belfast, where he also completed a prescribing qualification. He went on to earn his PhD in psychoepidemiology at the University of Oxford, focusing on the use of clozapine in treatment‑resistant psychosis.
With more than seven years’ experience working in clinical hospital pharmacy in mental health settings, Dr Oloyede is recognised internationally as an authority on the clinical use of psychiatric medicines. His expertise lies in psychotropic medications in early intervention for psychosis, and his academic research focuses on epidemiology and population studies in treatment‑resistant psychosis. He is also a contributing author to the world‑renowned Maudsley Prescribing Guidelines.
