Dr Juliet Hurn is a Consultant Psychiatrist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and Interim Clinical Director of the Psychosis Clinical Academic Group (CAG) at King’s Health Partners. The Psychosis CAG focuses on advancing early intervention, relapse prevention, and the management of treatment‑resistant psychosis.
Alongside her clinical practice, Juliet plays a key role in clinical academic leadership, translating research into improved services and patient care. Her research interests include Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) and broader aspects of mental health. She has published in the field, with work ranging from contemporary psychiatric practice to historical research, including studies on “Some historical aspects of general paralysis of the insane 1820–1860.”
Through her combined clinical, leadership, and research expertise, Juliet contributes to shaping innovation and best practice in the care of people experiencing psychosis and related mental health conditions.
