Dr. Karina Allen
Consultant Clinical Psychologist, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust
Dr. Karina Allen is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the outpatient adult eating disorder service at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), and a Visiting Senior Lecturer at King’s College London. With over 15 years of clinical and research experience in eating disorders, Karina has played a pivotal role in the scaling of FREED, a nationwide early intervention programme for emerging adults with recent onset eating disorders. She is also a Co-Investigator of FREED-Mobile. Karina has received several awards for her work and is highly involved in the development, evaluation, and national roll-out of the FREED pathway.
