Dr. Miranda Payne

Dr. Miranda Payne is a Consultant in Medical Oncology, specialising exclusively in the treatment of skin cancers, with particular expertise in the systemic treatment of melanoma and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. She has a strong academic background, having completed a first in Physiology from the University of Oxford before embarking on her clinical training, which she completed in 1999.
In 2006, Dr. Payne was awarded a Cancer Research UK Clinical Fellowship and spent four years researching DNA repair mechanisms at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, culminating in a DPhil in Medical Oncology from the University of Oxford. She completed her specialist training in Oxford, where she has more recently served as the Clinical Lead for the Oncology Department at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a position she held for over three years.
