Sandra Parish

Sandra is a registered mental health and general nurse with over 40 years’ experience, working in a variety of mental health and primary care settings in London and overseas. She has a particular interest in supporting education of the physical health needs of people with mental illness. Working in older adult services she has remained a founding member of the Trust end of life care commitee and is passionate about developing training which supports difficult conversations on all aspects of Mental Health Care. She has been sucessful in winning two Health Innovation Awards awards and developing experiential training courses for Non Clinical Staff in Mental Health Settings as well as a training package focussing on end of life conversations with people with a dementia diagnosis and their carers.
