Peer Support Coordinator
Tiru Thiruvilangam is a Peer Support Coordinator, currently working at South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust. Having previously worked in the corporate sector for 15 years, following the COVID-19 pandemic and informed by his lived experience of recurring and severe depression, Tiru chose to start a new career in mental health as a peer support worker in 2021. Tiru is currently overseeing the R3P Peer Support Project, a project that has been shortlisted for HSJ Safety Award, Patient Safety Pilot Project of the Year
