Learning objectives
- Define the condition of ADHD, including its aetiology and epidemiology.
- Conduct assessments for ADHD through comprehensive history-taking and standardised questionnaires.
- Formulate differential diagnoses for patients presenting with ADHD symptoms alongside other psychiatric comorbidities.
- Advocate for equity in access to ADHD assessment and treatment services.
- Provide psychoeducation regarding ADHD, addressing both cases where it is diagnosed and where it is not.
- Recommend psychosocial strategies for managing ADHD symptoms effectively.
