London-wide CYP mental health Masterclass
- Describe the overlap between physical and mental health and wider determinants of health and well-being
- Recognise common mental health comorbidity with ongoing health needs in children and young people
- Identify signs of mental health needs in children and young people presenting in health settings
- Formulate basic management plans, including signposting and referrals as appropriate
- Recognise staff mental health needs in health settings including impact of stigma and the importance of staff’s own wellbeing.
This course It is suitable for clinicians involved in the management of young people with physical and mental health co-morbidity in the general hospital setting.
