This conference spans two days, with the first day conducted online and the second day held face-to-face with limited seating. Attendees have the flexibility to participate in either day one, day two, or both days based on their preferences.

Venue

This conference is scheduled for two days. The first day will take place online via Zoom; while the second day is set to be an in-person event at the ORTUS Conferencing and Events Venue, located at 82-96 Grove Lane, London, SE5 8SN with limited seating available.

Attendees have the flexibility to choose their level of participation, whether opting for the online sessions on day one, the face-to-face interactions on day two, or fully engaging in both days based on individual preferences. Abstract submission

We are inviting abstract submissions on the theme "The Present and Future of Mental Health Simulation." These submissions can be for the delivery of an online presentation or workshop on Day 1 (Thursday, 9th May) or a presentation or workshop delivered face-to-face on Day 2 (Friday, 10th May).

Timings for the submissions are as follows:

  • Face-to-Face Workshops (Day 2) – 60 minutes
  • Online Talks (Day 1) – 15–20 minutes
  • Online Workshops (Day 1) – 45 minutes

Topics for submissions can cover a variety of subjects related to the main theme of the conference. Examples include Psychological Safety in Simulation, New Technologies in Mental Health Simulation (AI, VR, and Innovative Simulation), Wellbeing and Culture, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Simulation (Actors, Scenario, Faculty), Mental Health Simulation for Healthcare Transformation, and The Technology and Moderation of Mental Health Simulation.

Abstract submission details are as follows:

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: Wednesday, 31st January 2024
  • Expert Committee Review of Abstracts: Week Commencing 5th February 2024
  • Notification of Accepted Abstracts: Thursday, 29th February 2024

The conference is scheduled for Day 1 on Thursday, 9th May 2024, and Day 2 on Friday, 10th May 2024.
