About the course

This is a one-day combined didactic and simulation course designed for Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialists working with children and young people with long-term health conditions. The course aims to address gaps in understanding and applying motivational interviewing techniques in paediatric care. It provides participants with the skills, practice, and development necessary for engaging in effective health-related conversations with young people and their families using motivational interviewing methods.
