By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Understand the functional impact of Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) on patients’ lives.

Recognise the signs and symptoms of TD in both early and late stages, and assess its severity using the AIMS examination.

Understand the differential diagnosis of TD and distinguish it from other extrapyramidal movement disorders.

Identify strategies for preventing the progression of TD and managing established cases.

Confidently discuss the diagnosis and management of TD with patients and carers.
