Dr. Catherine Lankester

Senior Clinical Psychologist, (PICuP)

Dr. Catherine Lankester is a Senior Clinical Psychologist at the Psychological Interventions Clinic for Outpatients with Psychosis (PICuP), where she provides psychological therapy and family interventions. She supervises staff in the Family and Friends Service and works with professionals across NHS trusts, including trainee clinical psychologists completing their doctorate and participants on UCL’s Postgraduate Certificate in CBT for Psychosis. Dr. Lankester has extensive experience working with individuals with psychosis, their families, and carers, across early intervention services and community mental health teams. She is passionate about working with those with lived experience of psychosis and provides leadership and management for PICuP’s peer support service. Dr. Lankester holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Southampton and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from UCL. More recently, she completed further specialist training, including a postgraduate certificate in CBT for Psychosis and as an associate tutor on the postgraduate diploma in cognitive behavioural family interventions in psychosis.
