Dr Livia Martucci
Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist
Dr Livia Martucci is a Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist and the Clinical Lead for Perinatal Services at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). She holds a PhD in genetics and a postgraduate diploma in medical education.
Dr Martucci has extensive experience in the assessment and management of a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, panic, OCD, depression, Bipolar Disorder, and psychotic illnesses, both during the perinatal period and more generally. She has also worked with fathers experiencing antenatal and postnatal anxiety or depression, and has provided parent-infant psychotherapy.
In her NHS role, Dr Martucci leads a well-established community and maternity liaison perinatal team. She also has a strong background in medical education, having served as Academic Training Programme Director for psychiatry in London and tutor for both Specialty and Foundation trainees.
