Virtual reality

Immersive mental health simulation training utilising ultra-high-definition, 360-degree videos

Virtual Reality training can provide a safe and effective way for participants to develop their skills and knowledge, leading to better patient care and outcomes.

At Maudsley Learning, we believe in harnessing the power of immersive technology to revolutionise Mental Health Education. Our Virtual Reality (VR) offerings transport users to dynamic, engaging, and interactive environments where they can explore, learn, and engage with mental health concepts before further enhancing this learning through structured debriefs.

Our VR consists of 360-degree videos that provide a unique window into the world of healthcare. Through immersive storytelling and experiential learning, users are transported into realistic scenarios that foster empathy, understanding, and skill-building.

Why choose VR training?

  • Realistic Simulations - Participants experience highly realistic scenarios in a safe, controlled virtual environment, allowing them to build confidence and skills without the risks of real-life situations.
  • Cost-Effective - All you need is a VR headset and software. No need for extensive resources or live actors, making it a cost-effective solution for ongoing training.
  • Repeatable Scenarios - Staff can repeat VR scenarios as many times as needed to practice and perfect their techniques in various situations, enhancing their learning retention.
  • Accelerated Learning - VR training helps accelerate the learning process, allowing participants to practice procedures and techniques more efficiently than with traditional methods.
  • Enhanced Patient Safety - Staff can develop and refine their skills without endangering patients or colleagues, leading to improved safety and care outcomes in real-world settings.
