All new state-of-the-art simulation suite

After months of planning, sketching, designing, and modelling, construction has commenced to transform one of the seven levels at the ORTUS training centre on the Maudsley Hospital site, into a fully functioning state-of-the-art simulation suite. We have been working closely with our partners at the Maudsley Charity and staff at the Ortus training centre to bring you this exciting new development and minimise disruption as much as possible.

With the launch scheduled for 11th November, there is still a lot more work to be done, from installing the fixtures and fittings to relocating our AV system and transporting simulation props over to our new suite.

We are now into fourth week of the construction phase and the bare bones have already been assembled…
