Cancelling course bookings

Maudsley Learning will make every effort to run courses and events as published; however, we reserve the right to cancel a course or event at any time without liability. In such circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date where possible. Maudsley Learning reserves the right to alter any course content without prior notice. Maudsley Learning and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust are not liable for any other loss.

The purchaser has a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase to cancel and receive a full refund.

If the course is delivered and the purchaser is still within the 14-day cooling-off period, then there will be no refund because the goods and services have been delivered.

If the cooling off period is finished but there is still more than 28 days before course delivery the purchaser can cancel for a full refund but if the cooling off period is finished and the purchaser cancels within the 28-day period, there will be no refund.

If the delegate fails to attend the course, the full course fee will be retained.

Cancelling in-house/bespoke courses

The cancellation terms of in-house/bespoke courses are stated in the service level agreement.

Changing delegate details – substitutes

There will be no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace the original delegate. Please inform our office in writing by emailing maudsleylearning@slam.nhs.uk of any change to the original booking.
