About the training programme

The 4 day Autism Train the Trainer Training for Adult Mental Health Inpatient Settings (AATtT), commissioned by Health Education England aims to equip adult mental health inpatient service providers with the means to give their workforce the training they need to provide inpatient mental health care for autistic people.

As a learner you will be joining a community of 280+ clinicians completing this training around the country who are passionate about improving the care experiences of Adults with autism. During and after the training you will have access to an online community of trainers, course resources and supplementary material via a Virtual Learning Environment. In addition, you will be supported by 45+ Experts by Experience who have also contributed to the development of this training programme.

The training programme aims to provide you with the knowledge to be able to deliver your own high-quality training to your colleagues on how to work with adults with autism.
