Kiran Virk

Kiran is an integral part of our team, having been a dedicated member of Maudsley Learning since 2014.  She brings a diverse range of technical skills, including expertise in production management, video editing and wireless streaming, garnered from her prior experience in television production.

Having commenced her journey as a simulation technician specialising in Mental Health, Kiran is now Head of Live Delivery and Broadcast and manages a talented team of simulation technicians and digital moderators. Kiran is passionate about incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as Virtual Reality, to deliver impactful learning and promote an empathetic approach.

Kiran has presented technical findings at a wide range of simulation conferences. Topics include assessing the impact of a patient view camera in simulation courses, the use of sensory cues to enhance the learning experience and the importance of the moderator-technician role in the online simulation revolution.
